After years of success in acting, Shahab Hosseini finally got to direct his first film, “Resident of the Middle Floor”, in which he also plays the main role. Released in 2014, it depicts the story of a depressive writer dealing with a lack of inspiration. In this film, Hosseini appears in 38 different roles, all of which are characters born from the writer’s diverse ideas. Some of the notable characters he portrays are Che Guevara, Rumi, Jesus and Lionel Messi.
