The feature film “The Last Act”, Shahab Hosseini’s latest work in the United States, was screened on September 14 at the 8th Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival. Both the cast and the director were present at screening, with Shahab Hosseini kindly giving insightful responses to the audience’s questions.

“I felt like this play [by Gilbert Cesbron] effectively conveyed a universal message. The core theme of it caught my attention and instantly reminded me of my own experiences and somehow, it made me feel responsible.” Shahab Hosseini says in response to an audience member asking how he managed to make such a compelling film.
