The Winners Circle: Accolade Awards 2025

The judging panel, known for their high standards of artistic excellence and creativity, bestowed the following awards upon Seven Skies’ distributed titles:

• Award of Excellence: Women Filmmakers

  Film: “Hidden Moon”
  Directed by: Mahsa Ahmadzadeh
  This award represents one of the competition’s highest honors, recognizing outstanding craft and storytelling by female directors.

• Award of Merit: Documentary Feature

  Documentary: “The Night of Ignite” (Sans-e Atash)
  Directed by: Hamed Pouresfandiani
  A powerful documentary recounting the tragedy of Cinema Rex in Abadan, the result of years of extensive research.

• Award of Merit: Asian Filmmaker

  Film: “Drawn In Black”
  Directed by: Mahyar Mirpadyab
  Recognized for its unique vision and creative execution by an Asian filmmaker.

• Award of Merit: Special Mention (Actor)

  Short Film: “First Kiss”
  Directed by: Seyed Hassan Hosseini
  Special recognition for Lead Actor Farhad Baghaeini for his compelling performance (The Fat Man).
