Hosted by Shahab Hosseini, “New View” is a film discussion show that focuses on introducing young and/or rather unknown Iranian filmmakers who carry innovative ideas. The aim is to help them reach a larger audience and gain international reputation. Each episode focuses on one filmmaker at a time, and within each episode, their film is displayed and following that is a discussion on the film between Shahab and the filmmaker. So far, there have been numerous talented guests on this show, all of whose films were personally watched and selected by Shahab.
