The prestigious MISAFF (Mosaic International South Asian Film Festival), which focuses on South Asian and Middle Eastern cinema, is being held in Mississauga. In its 10th edition, the festival features the short film “Erroneous” — a work in which Sanaz Arjmand has played a key role as both co-director and director of photography.

Recognized by the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television, MISAFF is considered one of the major gateways for independent filmmakers to reach international audiences.

The story of “Erroneous” follows two young women who decide to take on the job of washing corpses. However, during their practice, they encounter a shocking and terrifying event that challenges their choices and the course of their lives.
