
Igol, a short film written by Mehran Moradi and directed by Nafiseh Zaheri, has gained notable recognition at several prestigious international film festivals for its emotional and socially conscious narrative. The film’s international distribution is handled by Seven Skies.
At the 5th FLOW Festival and Film Market, held from February 27 to March 3, 2025 in Florida, USA, Igol was awarded Best Foreign Short Film.
The film also received the Best Student Short Film Award at the 11th Dirigo International Student Film Festival in the UK (January 2025).
Igol continued its success by winning the Best Short Film Award and a 10,000₺ cash prize at the 21st Kısa-ca International Student Film Festival held in Konya, Turkey, in late May 2025.
Additionally, the film has been officially selected for the Corujinha Children’s Festival in Brazil, a festival dedicated to works related to children and youth.
